Story Walk

 

Stop by for a stroll at Flat Run Veterans Park, you and your family can stroll and enjoy a story on the lower walking trail.  The Story Walk features The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper and Reimagined By Caldecott Medal Winner Dan Santat.   The Story Walk will feature a new story approximately every 3 months.  With a rotating story, there will be new stories for your family to read and enjoy.  The Story Walk is a permanent display at the park, that is displayed year round.   The funding for this project was provided by Kentucky Humanities and The National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act, as well as the Wm. Frank Lebus Jr. Library Fund.
