Teen Time: Challenger Deep

We will be learning about the ocean zones and the Mariana Trench, also known as Challenger Deep. Pressure increases as you explore deeper and deeper and the animals that can thrive in the deepest parts of the ocean are very different than those that can live near the surface. Teens will be able to learn about different animals in each zone from sharks to blob fish. Parallels will be drawn between the increasing pressure in the depths of the ocean and our daily lives as things fell darker and more stressful. Then to relieve this stress and pressure teens will have the opportunity to make a mini ocean themed Zen garden!
